BEEKMAN~Last Day~Wedding~WOW Week!

I thought the biggest thing this week would be my last day at work.

I should know better by now the surprises of Life and how it unfolds when I am Open and say Yes

Tuesday my friend Barbara asked if I wanted to take a ride to Sharon Springs in the morning so she could get a feel of the area for an upcoming article she was going to write for CNY Magazine.

YES

By the time we left the trip switched from just getting a feel, to Brent is going to be there and the interview is going to happen now!

Good thing Barbara is a Yes girl too! And that she likes me :)

Whenever I walk up these steps my heart starts beating outta my chest

While Barbara spoke with Brent on the front porch I was alone to shop, absorb every detail, and wait for my Beekman Blonde friend Sweet Maria <3

 Spent a longggg time trying to decide if I could make these fit in my house.

So many times I buy something and it's out in my shop the next day because it didn't feel right with the 1700's primitive thing I got going on (that's now changing a bit!)

When she walked over and introduced herself I was as excited as I was at the Beekman!

WHAT a day so far!

THEN

My heart beat clearly out of my chest when we went to the farm to pick up a towel holder Jason's Dad <3 made and Jason showed us the goats!!

The next day was exciting too

My last day of work

I will be sad to leave my worker friends xox and all my dear customers

But I am happy happy HAPPY to be freeeee

It's a utterly ridiculous that I would feel this way with such an itty bitty part time job

But I soooo do!

It's been six years since I could focus on just my business and each and every day was open and mine.

On the days I worked, it was all I could do. Nothing else got done. My brain and feet hurt and I needed to reboot for the next day. Which was a day I didn't work but didn't want to get too involved in something because the next day I did. And on and on

Visiting loves of my life <3 

Next time I will be sittin' right there with them!

THE Wedding

I was not into it one bit

Until the day before when all the excitement was in the air

I set my alarm, made some coffee with a blob of Cajeta (probably shoulda been English Breakfast tea!),

and became enchanted.

Practiced my Curtsy all day long

...fell over when I curtsied the cat

Got better by Saturday when I curtsied to Milli in the Tea Room

We both had work to do so Milli said she'd take me to Roji Tea Lounge

She went there the other day and couldn't wait to show me

I want to go there EVERYday!

NOW I have to get ready for my Gold Bug party I'm having tomorrow night

I went to one and came home with a check for 633.00 for not very much gold at all!

Some broken chains, charms, mismatched earrings, and rings of my Mom's

(sorry Mama. no one wanted them)

I think where she is she sooo understands :)

I neverrr ever do these parties but everyone was so HAPPY and I loved Meg the Gold Bug girl

A party where you don't have to spend anything. You get to declutter your jewelry box. And come home with $$$

...she'll even pop those stones out for ya!
