Cosmic Shift

I guess there's something in the air.
I follow the Empath Connection online. It seems as if emotions for a bunch of us highly sensitives have been here there and EVERYwhere recently.
Which was a relief to read after these past couple of weeks.
...but sad for others going through it :(

I rookled about this and rookled about that.
Cried. Paced. Waited.

I rookled about our local grocery store. Cried when I was in there cause it took me 8 minutes to find the stupid toilet tissue. Shouldn't it be in the paper towel isle? And shouldn't things with High Fructose Corn Syrup NOT be in the natural food section? And whyyy only Tops or oneee other brand??
AND why oh why did we get stuck with Tops after P&C closed!
Then I was stillll so gosh darn sad about leaving Cape Cod. Feeling like I found my purpose finallyyy and was sure to die a slow painful death not being able to live it out.
Also this week it hit my little Carolyn. The spinal disease that lots of Doxies get which can eventually cause paralysis in the back legs. My heart went right out the window with this one. :(
Reading scary dark things on the internet. Imagining the worst.
OK the pacing and the waiting what's thattt about? It wasn't my usual butterflies in my tummy or a waiting for Christmas feeling. Or the high I get before I'm going to be with my girls. It was a looming what's about to happen bad next feeling.

Yesterday there was a shift!
SOMEthing lifted and all was well in my world again :)
I went to the Ithaca Farmers Market and found a potential new purpose in life.
Fell even deeper in love with Dave, if that's even possible, watching him take tender care of our Carolyn. Gently lifting and carrying her through our plan to try and heal her with as little movement as possible.
And the High of I'm going to see Lacy! put butterflies back into my tummy!

An AMAZING night to remember and hopefully a Dean Brothers comeback and new summer tradition!!!

By the end of the night the whole park was dancin!
Even a Bride and Groom from across the street at The Sherwood Inn hopped on stage!
Fabulous!!!

I know mom, not supposed to say hate.
My intense dislike, for our local grocery store has nothing to do with the cosmic particles floating round out there.
It's simple. They are just not real food people.
Green Hills...Whole Foods...Traders Joe's.
YOU OUT THERE?
Come HERE to Skanstock!
PLEEEASE!!!!

  1. I think of Tops the way I did P&C. White bread, canned soup, processed cheese, peanut butter with sugar, etc.etc.etc. Happy Fourth of July Cindy and Dave!

  2. Ha! my mother used to say to use "dislike immensely". It is good to hear that you have found the ability to emerge from your funk. Your place looks like quite a happening. We don't have any cherries at the farmer's market. THose look delicious.

  6. Cindy...glad the cosmos saw fit to twist and turn you around intil you were comfortable. I forgot about the Dean Bros laying! I used to see them play all the time...wayyyy...back in the day....a few times at the Thunderbird Lodge at Song...hmmmm...was it THAT long ago??? I agree the car looks kind of creepy...like those weird dolls made from doll parts and old cans etc...they always give me a bad vibe, like they can see thru to your soul or something...
:-) Hope Carolyn is feeling better...

  12. I love reading your post Cindy....certainly not the sadness..but the overall life! I always try to remember a certain quote..which I can not remember correctly at the moment..but something about "If it were not for the sadness..we would never recognize the happiness"....something like that....

I think it was special that even though we were not able to meet this time...that we were in the same town wandering about and in the same "atmosphere" for a time. Wishing you a great day..wish we could come back down this weekend for the Lavender Fest :)

    hugs, doreen
