Bittersweet

Should be used to it by now
Ducking in and out of life.
From high vibrational crazy happiness to silence
Mama always said I think and feel too much

Silenced for a bit longer than usual lately
Whatsitallabout
Purpose.
No answers yet but can feel an awakening. Walking towards something. Something.
Just in time for Fall.

Removed myself from the world and went down to our camp for 5 days
Heaven.
No date or time
No mask to wear.
Reading, creating, resting, be ing

Wasn't completely alone

Little Miss Carolyn along for the ride

Lemon, maple syrup, cayenne, cleanse..
...clear thoughts. Light.

Most days rain.
When sad and it rains I feel a nod from the Universe. Pausing time. Cradling.

Came home from camp and went right down to a Ghost Walk the next town over
Sponsored by the Empire State Paranormal Research Society

Knew there was something special about her the second I laid eyes on her.

Town Historian. Medium. Practicing Wiccan

While gathered at Fort Hill gate I went over to the cemetery to take a few photos

wasn't surprised

No ghosts were found that night by the paranormal team but Lydia was enchanting.

Last Sunday
Went to Sharon Springs to see if I could pull myself back to where I was before I disappeared.

Brent walked over with us for the opening Thanksgiving Blessing

Back to the Mercantile

The estate was acquired by Henry L Clausen Jr. a successful beer maker in 1890
New owners Susan and Yvonne show us the hops that still grows on the property

It was here that my cell phone rang even though it was on vibrate
No one was there.

Down the street to the Bookbinder

Love a man who loves books and devotes his life to them.
My mother said ...didn't she say a lot of head things to me??...that I would end up drowning in my books.
...niiice mom!

Right next door, block printed historic reproduction and custom design wallpaper shop!

The Colonial Housefitter's Fall Gathering
...more than anything I wanted to be in hiding mode yesterday.
The day before, not 5 minutes after standing before the lake asking for guidance, a young girl who had been drinking appeared in my path. A long sad story that makes my heart weep.
Walking her home she fell and took me down with her.
Picked myself up, gathered my jewels, and spent the day with my girlfriends.
Soothing balm for an aching body and quiet heart.

Bittersweet
One of my favorite signs of Autumn

...like Life
sometimes not so
but mostly...
very
Sweet

  8. Hey Cindy,
"Bloom Where You Are Planted" is my favorite phrase and has been hanging in my home for years. It is such a wonderful reminder to make the most of the time we have on this earth. Thank you for a great weekend. We enjoyed the delicious food, the "special apple cider", and the warmth of spending time with family. Maggie and I are honored to be a part of your blog. I hope your heart gets happy again soon. Love ya, Janet
