Wednesday two new friends came into my heart
Kate and Mark follow this here crazy blog and traveled all the way from Michigan for us to meet and to see my little town!
Something Mark said propelled me right outta that funkyfunk I was in.
He asked if I really appreciated where I live?
My Milli girl being free to go wherever she wants has been messing with my head for the past few months..
Thinking maybe that's what I want too.
Something more. Better.
Mark's words hit hard.
It's all right here.
Kissed by The Universe with good friends and four solid seasons of beauty and charm.
A place I'm not forced to live. Chosen all by myself the second I first came through.
Kate
..love her!

...Dare to live fully right where you are

A love poem of life..
Thanksgiving in a constant state. Gracefilled.
Stopping to look. See.
Touch. Smell. Taste.
A grateFULL heart.
My own thousand grace notes of love began Thursday
dirt road to my father's camp. where I begin to feel safe.
my heart rests here
patchwork quilt of comfort
fields of orange orbs make me so happy
Tim
for his vision when just a boy.
always more than enough
glistening naturejewels
once a year. mindfulness.
besomcorn
smiley faces
cometruefairytales
full moon luminas
country comfort
...that's Tim!
Friday morning walk
yellow. orange. red. gold.
..so happy pastels were not chosen for Fall
pathways
trust
prayer bench
peace.
to calm myself as a little girl I would look for four leaf clovers
hidden treasure
whimsyandfun
togetherness
night time melodies
...wine inside
Early Saturday morning ride with a friend
food art
nature's paint box
madebyhands
tummy ticklers
evidence of God
community
family visits. Light.
edible magic
Godmade
cute little things that like Halloween as much as I do
Sunday Morning
my park.
calms me when my insides shake.
solace
secret spot
meditation
open arms
passion
life
consciousness
letting go
always find love along my way
Yes Mark,
I do pinch myself.
Thank you so for pinching meee!

It is so true-- you live in a most beautiful part of the world. My sister & I are in Vermont for a few days & it looks much the same. I'll go home renewed & ready to face winter.

"Bloom where you are planted" has been my mantra since Ted was diagnosed with cancer four months after we were engaged. True happiness lies in being able to make the most out of any situation. I learned that from my mother who lived through childhood poverty, the depression, losing a son and a spouse;and despite all of this, she never said she was unhappy - just thankful for what she had and always willing to share that with others. The things that make me happiest are the things I do for others - thankfully, I married a man who feels the same way - we have had our share of ups and downs over the past thirty years - but as he says "In the grand scheme of things, it could be worse!"
ReplyDeleteJust a beautiful post.Left me refreshed and happy too.Warm Blessings!~Amy
ReplyDeleteLovely, this post sounds much more like the "real" you! There is always hope, a new path to take, and joy in the journey, but you have to go eyes open to experience the exuberance! If your eyes are closed, you miss the paths of possibility!
ReplyDeleteBest post ever. Love you, Cindy!
