Spirit House

New joys and doors have been opening.
..maybe the coming of 2012
Just found out that a little over an hour away in Georgetown NY is a Spirit House
Built on sacred ground during a ten year period, 1855-1865, by Timothy Brown for his family under Spirit direction. ...oh how I lovelove this!
It was constructed as a residence and for Spiritualists meetings.

...holding my heart
It's for sale!!

A wood frame structure. The exterior features 2x4's arranged vertically and scalloped at regular intervals. Giving the Spirit House a highly textured surface making it hard to tell how it was constructed.

Mr. Brown was directed by Spirit how to hold his chisel at certain angles to make the scallops in the wood...said to keep bad spirits away.

It has three tiered cornice with downward pointing keys.
Keys to his heart I am sure xo

The cup marks are thought to resemble ancient megaliths.

back door

where I want my coffee/bake shop and bookstore

peeking in, it would be absolutely perfect!

felt very strong energy here

sacred paths through the woods around the back of the property

soothing energy on this path in particular

right next door!

Looking in where I would have my morning tea..sit and read away the day.

For now, the Spirit House is alive in my imagination.
But...
...you never, ever, know.
