Saying good bye to summer
The State Fair can scare me. I leave feeling displaced and icky from sad things I sometimes see.
Each year we do go and find our FUN though!

Eat bad but yummy fair food. The food you secretly wished you had but knewww you should not!
After finding the perfect shaded music in the distance picnic table, one by one we go out into fairworld and bring back something to share.
The thought being...stretches ones rigidity anddd you can garbage eat with less calories, a little less guilt and artery cloggage!
I was first and picked the baked potato from the Horticulture building
Healthy and not sooo bad if you don't put all the butter, cheese, and sour cream on it :)

I was completely full after half a potato and a glass of wine.

...cooker Girl Lacy was impressed with the balance of sweet and salty and generous mound of fresh vegetables. 660 calories I was told. Thought it would be more like 1200

Even scratch offs
Scratch offs are sooo totally stressful to me. Scratching off that film and having the tiny pieces everywhere gives me the chills and then if you can figure out that you won...a dollar...instant noose around your neck to remember to cash it in.
But...when at the fair
deep breaths, squint my eyes to half vision, and float the best I can.
...anddd stay away from the rides!
