Moonwalking

Recent weight loss wasn't a conscious thing, although most welcomed. The me now, is the me I've always been, until my mid thirties when some wacky metabolic creepy thing happen.
Never been a big eater. Vegetarian at 17 and organic since I can remember. A year now, the discovery of gluten sensitivity. What I think was behind the metabolic mix up.
Over the years no matter how little I ate, any sort of carbohydrates made me gain. I'm really a no going to Drs. girl. For this I went to many. No answers. Hormonal I was told.
I was tired, depressed, and everything hurt. For years I hid so no one would see me.

This past summer I had a friend who I'd walk and talk with. I loved our talks. I would walkwalkwalk, no matter how much pain I was in, just so we could keep talking. Which was very brave for me
..to be walking out in sunlight.
That was probably the beginning.
Fall into winter. Who was I and where was I going..
Time ticking by and I didn't want to get to the end and say, But wait! So much more I want to do. Be!

Winter was tough. Staying in, looking at stagnation made me cRaZy.
Freezing cold with the wind whipping, I bundled up, anointed my self with essential oils; Frankincense, Valor, or Peace and Calming, put sacred music in my pocket and ears, and stepped out the door.
Walked and prayed. From morning into the night.
Left life for awhile.
Now finding my peace.
Come walk with me!

Helped Lacy with a catering job. She really did all the work, I just kept playing chanting music to send loving Energy into the food and to calm my girl.

It worked. She LOVED it!

Wednesday I buried a St. Joseph statue for a friend who's selling her house.
It was cold and windy and a bit freaky but it is reeeeally supposed to work!
My friend Nancy came with me so she could read the Prayer as I dug.
Upside down, facing the back of the house, the instructions read.

OK this kills me.

Totally forgot he's supposed to go in a plastic bag.

Which makes it somewhat better but kinda worse too

After the house is sold, St. Joseph is to be dug up by the seller and put someplace special in the new home.

Wild flowers and clover growing free is more my style, 

but this time of year all flowers are especially welcomed!

Moonwalk last night.

My favorite is still walking under the moonlight. Absorbing it's Energy, being securely cloaked in the darkness.
A world of my own.
Rainwalking with an umbrella delights me too. Cozy safety under a private little shelter. Like the tiny forts I'd build in the woods, or the blanket tents on the bed, when I was little.

Going down into town, this is always my favorite spot, day or night.
It's when the lake begins to peek into view.
